The screenshot is not really a good example, there are 3 different globes in there. I think we'll probably change the small globe in the addons icon to the winning globe. To me the green one fits more with the other icons.

I won't vote, simply because STK isn't a democracy.
User feedback is wanted and taken into account, but if we should vote on every such decision we wouldn't have come this far.

Let's say it's because in Switzerland we have to vote 4 times a year; every vote time we have between 1 and 5 different subjects. Here I don't count the elections and the communal general council... so I have the habit to vote .

I think it's good to vote for your favorite icon, because it's something you will see at the opening of the game (even if you don't want to play online) . So again, vote!

I'll echo xenux. The white lines and points are overbright, it kills eyes, and doesn't fit with any of the other main icons.
