small bug? - skidding in the air /while jumping possible

if i jump, when i am in the air, i can skid, it comes the yellow "skid-trail" and i can hear the skid-sound

i don't know, if this is a bug or not

I don't think we should change this, imagine you began a skid and with a little jump it is desactivated ! :S

We did leave this in on purpose: it's great fun (imho) if you jump, then prepare the skid, so when you touch the ground again, you shoot off in another direction. Would be a good idea if tracks would be designed to offer opportunities like that I remember doing this in hacienda (just before the 90-degree right turn at the beginning of the canyon), not sure if this still happens, the physics have changed a bit since then.
