Here is a new texture for Oliver's Math Class. The old one kinda reminded me of concrete.

Yes I think it's better than the old one, you make this better than me ;)

Have you seen the wall texture? Should we improve it or not?
I don't know how we can made it...

It looks good, nice work! But isn't it a bit low-resolution? For such a large texture I'd expect 512x512 or bigger, now in your texture we can easily see the pixels

(as a rule of the thumb, I suggest you make your textures very large. Scaling down is MUCH easier than scaling up!)

Does this look better? (Oh, and that shows some of the work I have done on the Wilber kart. Expect to see it soon!)

Hi everyone!

@RaceAce : Yes it looks better :)

@kosmi : I try your texture... and to be honest with you it's not possible. We can't drive on it...

But with this two ideas I make a blue variation of your texture, RaceAce.
What do you think of it?

I uploaded the two textures, so you can try it :)

I like the blue variant. I think it looks more cartoony.

The darkest blue of this picture is really interesting but the "checkered floor" isn't a good idea

@S@f

Looking super good on that picture for cartoonish adverts :lol: , but checkered realy seems to not be so easy on eyes when one drive :x . Maybe better to be something simple :p

@ S@F: I think the grey looks better, it's more of a netural color.

@ Kosmi: The carpet texture adds intrest, yours is more like the current one-a little too bland for my taste.

Here is my upgrade for the Wilber kart. I added a racing stripe over the body and spoiler, stripes along the sides and underbody details.

@ RaceAce
Good work, but I think you missed the shadows on your racing stripes.
For the math class floor, I think blue was more cartoonish.
But I have not the time to test all our great textures. So I believe you for the grey texture.

:) The blue texture is now really good (grey is so sad!)
I've not the time to look all the kart (pictures?), i don't know if these stripes with wilber is a good idea :think:

Hi,

thanks a lot! I integrated the texture. I used the gray one for now, because IMO the blue one is just too much color and attracts more attention than a carpet should.

race ace, is it OK to release the texture under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 license?

About Wilber, to be honest, I'm not really convinced by the stripe on the back of the kart. It doesn't seem to fit naturally in the design of the kart

What if I would remove the stripe on the back, just having the one on the spoiler?
