Hi Rudy,
sorry for the delay in answering, we are just too busy atm.
rudy85 {l Wrote}:I think the turning animation must be more exaggerated(?)
Could you take it for the moment I will take a look in a future time.
Sure, I have to verify if all animations have been added yet, sorry, we are focusing on getting an alpha release out, and were fighting with i18n.
...
Problem is that I'm making winning animation too , and improving existing track and I'm going back to work
No pressure - you don't have to do everything, certainly other can and will help out and be able to use your experience
....
Think to making a loop to repeat animation
and It's good to ajust speed for each character ( I'm working in 2 computer with different capacity and results may be differents )
That should be handled by irrlicht.
[EDIT ]Think to make a camera following and turning around character which is driving alone guided by drivelines [EDIT]
Yes, we definitely need something like this. As a quick and easy start we can use the end camera, since it will display the character for most of the time. But a MK-like camera probably looks better - we have to see how to do this. E.g. the camera could smoothly move around and ahead of the kart, or just switch to the new position (which is what MK does).
One comment: all animations for one character should be in one file, e.g. frame 1-3 for turning left, then turning right, then winning, then losing (in whatever order), since STK will (atm) only load one (animated) model. We then just have to change the frames to play.
What is also most possible needed is that the computer drives your kart after you finish (and while playing the winning animation) - in a simple, non-competitive fashion.
Thanks for the work!
Joerg
