STK Halloween Edition

Re: STK Halloween Edition

Hello Ludsky.

We're doing what we think WE can. As I mentioned above I just put the files up for
people to be able to use it or experiment with it hopefully to make an STK 0.8 Halloween Edition
. We will probably do most of what you mention but I think I disagree with the names a bit.

We're done with Shifting Sands. It now looks like it's at night and there's no mist any more. We still call it "The Shifting Sands Of Time".

Today we shall modify Fort Magma.

This right now is not for release. It's for modification and to be put into version 0.8. However you may play with our .zips.

If you know anyone who likes working on STK and would like to make an STK Halloween edition could you notify them please?

I've created a Dev's page for STK Halloween. Anyone who wants to work on it can go there to communicate.

Just an aside; you don't need to ask their permission to publish a remix of STK - they have already given it in the form of the license (GPL, CC etc).

We have modified Fort Magma.

I expect that we shall release our final in November (bit out of time don't you think ;) ). Anyone can than take our files for their own stuff. Anyone who wishes to contribute to STK Halloween may do so on the Dev's Page.

Yes you may test. But don't send ME emails. I delete all, even if they carry a familiar names. Hackers are everywhere. :x

Yes I can send to you but results must be posted here or on the dev's page.

I accidentally deleted the binaries (any ideas how that happened?). I still have the rest but it will take a while. I still need to re-download STK and that's big. I'm expecting a "release" in late November.

You can help with anything. We're only running this because no one else is. You don't even need to report to us.

I know. This isn't a "get a release out" project. I just want to leave some sort of easy-to-distangle mess for people to work with. The actual STK Halloween 0.8 will be released next year probably (Halloween would be nice).

You don't have to make karts. Just test and take screenshots if you want... and make suggestions.

Don't worry will give you something! Just a bit out of time.

Finally. :)

Subsea has now been darkened. I still need to correct it a bit and my graphics card is now driving me nuts. But still it's working... on life support. :(

I need to get a new driver. In the mean time I can only do texture edits. Easy! :D
