Where Dwell The Bouncing Ball?

For the last few months I've had Artist Debug mode enabled. And I've noticed that you can't get the bouncing ball with any of the function (aka F) keys. Since the bouncing ball (as far as I can see) follows the driveline this could be vital to testing a track. And it's also good to know if your track is high enough for the purple ball.

You can get the bouncing ball by pressing Ctrl + F9.
