STK Halloween Edition

This year me and my team attempted (and failed) to create an STK Halloween edition. But what if you could?

I know it's too late to do anything for this Halloween but maybe some of you would like to work on the next Halloween edition. Who knows? STK always can get better.

I shall attach examples of our work through the next few days for anyone who wants to to work from. Use at will.

It's very interessant, i wait other files... Perhaps change the items :
- Plunger >> sticky spiderweb
- cake >> Sweet/candy
- bubblegum >> slimy jelly
- bowling >> Just change the color, bowling to looks the moon

Maybe, create a new track for Halloween, simple

I want to keep the cake as a pumpkin but the other ideas are great.

'Bout the track. Will have to wait. Our team has grade 6 school to deal with so non of us have much time.

New Bowling Ball (Moon or mummified bowling ball)

My Ideas :
- 3 New Kart (if you have a time) >> Ghost, Green Monster (Slime), and Spider.
- 1 New Track ( If you have a time) >> Simple Track >> In this track we can see a monster, Ghost, witch, pumpkin, sweet, haunted house, dead forest, old wooden fence, lava, lave slime (Green Lava), spider, big spiderweb...
- 1 New Item : Give a speed for 1 lap, she can also serve as missile.
- Change the items :
- Plunger >> sticky spiderweb
- cake >> Sweet/candy
- bubblegum >> slimy jelly
- bowling >> Just change the color, bowling to looks the moon
- (if you have make a new track and new kart) Make a new challenge and Grand prix

If you really want to help you can either try to persuade the STK team (Auria, Hiker and Arthur) to except this ( I doubt they'll except) or you could find a place to post the entire STK Halloween for download.

No I do not. We need a website with... 1000 (yes one thousand) MB space for this.

One thousand ? are you sure ? It's a lot of space for stk. I host on my server stk nightlies and the data are ~130 MB. Why you need 1 GB ?

If you mean on this forum we have not edited any binary. Because of that, no we will not release binaries here because of upload limits.

If you mean on the fictional website yes we would give away binaries as part of the game. Binary is what we would need to run the game.

I have some idea :
- Replace thunderbird by raven or Ghost
- Darken some tracks and modify textures and add some object :
* Sandtrack >> Sandtrack in the Night (New Name : Sandtrack in the Night)
* Jungle >> replace trees by dead trees (New Name : Dead Amazonia or Dead Jungle)
* Fort Magma>> replace red lava by green Lava (New Name : Fort Sliema)
* Startrack >> Add Ghost and Monster, add planets with pumpkin head ( New Name : In My Nightmare)
* Subsea Track >> Darken the water, greenish water (New Name : Abyss Track)
* The Farm >> add raven and epouvantaille, (New Name : Horror Farm)
* The Old Island >> add dinosaurs, dead palmtrees and darken the road (New Name : Black Island)

(Don't change cressent crossing, XR591, Snowtuwpeak, Snowmountain and Hacienda) I haven't got idea for Oliver Math, ....

For most children Oliver Math is already scary...

I think we can do Fort Magma and Sandtrack... and maybe Jungle... but I'll have to check with the team.

Thunderbird is difficult. He has two b3d's and our team can't do much about him... except for turning him in to a ghost of Thunderbird.

Oh by the way... We've already changed some xml stuff with the tracks.

Slime is having trouble. We're fixing.

Hero just a question. Why are you trying to make a complet stk edition. It's a lot of work. Why you don't just make a track or an object in blender ?

Actually, your textures aren't professionnal. This contribution probably will not be accepted for the moment.
STK now has a track with halloween inspiration it's blackhill's mansion. Why don't you try to improve this track ? If your work is good, I can include it in the official package. I already did that with a beginner.
You can learn, read tutorials to improve yourself.

Our team wishes to make an STK Halloween edition.

A few years ago STK came out with a Halloween edtition. They haven't done anything like it since but said we could. Or team decided to try it.

We were turned down (because of a bad job on the icons). I'm not offering this stuff here for release. I just want for people to be able to use it or experiment with it hopefully to make an STK 0.8 Halloween Edition. The reason our team is working on it again is because Ludsky showed extra interest and we're the only ones who seem willing to carry out (some) of his ideas.

If you really want to help you can either try to persuade the STK team (Auria, Hiker and Arthur) to except this ( I doubt they'll except) or you could find a place to post the entire STK Halloween for download.

The part about persuading the STK team to except this was a joke. They did say we could publish our work on our own site if we wanted.
