HELP: Quin needs Internet Credit

Where I currently live, there is no ADSL connection (the exchange is more than 6km from my location), and as such we rely on mobile 3G internet to stay online. I have used this to do the release and spent a considerable amount of my credit in doing so. Unfortunately, we are now out of money and down to our last dollar of internet credit. If anyone has a few spare dollars, please consider donating it to Red Eclipse to help keep me online until Tuesday. We only need $30 to successfully recharge our device and keep us going until the next pay day. If it turns out this "donation drive" generates more than the target amount, it will go directly to paying fleeky for the player model he provided us with almost 2 years ago. Thank you.

Quin lives in a cave deep under Cradle Mountain where he recieves ancient wisdoms from aboriginal shamans. it is, by neccesity remote, and Oz is a very big place, hence the difficulty connecting.

Now, for all us Australians, and I know there are a few of you, we have a special duty to support Quin and RE, he is after all, one of our national treasures, up there between Kyle Minoque and Pharlap. Not a bad place to be, as long as the horse is behind you. So dig deep.

Nope, at least nothing affordable, and it doesn't help we're in a rural/bush area so line of sight is an issue too. Australia's internet really sucks when it comes to value for money. We're all still paying through the nose for quota in most situations. On 3G I pay about 1.46c/MB - it is fine for playing RE so long as I actually have enough credit (we use about $1 per hour of gaming). I do minimise the amount of data I transfer during release time by creating the bundles on the play.redeclipse.net server, but I still have to work with SVN and upload Win/Mac binaries, not to mention that after a release I need to be out there playing the game to make sure everything is running smoothly!

For the record, we've reached our goal twice over, so at least some money can go toward fleeky now too. I've got enough internet credit to last now, so thank you all very much for showing your appreciation; it's times like this I am really proud to be the leader of such a fantastic community!
