Some people actually play Red Eclipse because they want to play Red Eclipse, not Call of Duty. Q and E are also bound by default IIRC.
I personally think that the pacing is good as is, perhaps slightly too slow on occasions. It fits to Red Eclipse, just like that of Cube 2: Sauerbraten fits to Cube 2: Sauerbraten and that of Call of Duty would presumably fit to Call of Duty...
Melee as in the weapon? Because that is only avaliable in Time-trial at the moment (if spawnweapon =/= 0). Use the impulse key after/during an impulse movement to execute a Melee attack...

Suggestion:
No 'medieval' or 'ballistic' mutators, instead one where a weapon that the round is locked to can be chosen.

I forgot about 1 thing
Will be a nice to have a door with horizontal placement .
Also, you can't to set the fan vertically. I can't put it in shaft, or add it to ship as a screw. And it's bad.

Actually (this is late for 1.3, so I would like this in 1.4), I think the Flamer should be replaced altogether, with a lightning-gun type weapon. What do you think?

I just realized I've been posting my ideas in short spurts, not all at once like I'm supposed to, I'm sorry about that, here's a recap of what I've said plus what just occurred to me now:

-rocket notification (some kind of "beware, the rocket is loose!" kind of thing for non-ballistic dms)
-better rifle zoom shot effect, sometimes it doesn't show for me and I don't know if it's because I'm hitting some unseen geometry or not.
-random map button

My latest request is actually kind of low priority, but I've absolutely hated the lava texture that Sauerbraten (and RE) uses, does anyone agree that it could use a better replacement?

yes , lava texture need to be remaded ... but who want work on it ?

Dash move must be rebinded form [direction key]+[direction key] to [Q]+[direction key]. It can did this move a more useful .

There, I fixed it for you...

Bitwise variable 'residual': 0 = Off, 1 = Burn; 2 = Bleed, so 3 = Burn + bleed.
Instead of each weapon being able to flak another weapon make flak weapons for each existing weapon.
Some variable that determines isif a weapon fires after reaching maximum cooking/power, possibly:
0 = Default, fires after maximum charge; 1 = Stop charging at maximum, but do not fire until the key is released; 2 = Once maximum charge is reached count downward(so the charge/cooking/power fluctuates).
Would be useful for a compound bow^_^

Remove noclip on spacetech and allow more drop before death.

Again:
Occasionally when slow is put > 2 and damage = 0 and a person is hit, they are 'displaced'(or launched at unknown speeds an unknown distance) from the map(the geometry is no longer visible). The ambient sound will increase in volume and the weapon, including projectiles, are offset from the player. This continues after death(until the round is reset).

My some wishes are:
1) better game engine (i always feel strange when i look something at the corner of my monitor) (maybe its because of the cube engine, we will see)
2) i liked so much insta-vampire-ballistic-resize (&jetpack), and not only me. playing this was so funny after so many insta...
3) maybe more diversified guns (sooooo boring when playing 2 hours, for e.g. make classes (smg class), and in different guns, having smg attribution, so when you get one, it can be different than an other smg)
4) sometime disable often-played modes (kile insta basket bomber on dutility. i hate when it is played 6 times in a day)
5) random stuff in maps, to make it a bit-bit different every play (for e.g. a maze, alawys different, haveing particles like puzzle and an algorythm making some part random)
6) EDITOR!!!!!!!!!! the inubilt editor is.... khm... crap. i mean its good for some simpler maps, but not all: try to make a dome. it will be hell to make. idea: allow cursor (has size n) to move on grid szie n-1. and make it able to textures to move with a grid away. (i mean not moving while playing, i want to say that if u take a RE emblem in the origo, it will be 4 squares of it, and not one big texture)
7) command list: there may be a file with all commands and effects. (yup, i know, theres over 100 commands, but really...)

Be indulgent for me, if i havent discovered all things and i wrote thing like they would be problem.

You feel strange is a reason to completely overhaul a game engine, this close to 1.3 release? The cube2 engine is an incredible one.

I actually agree with this, and I really wish there was some way to do this - unfortunately the modes that are playable are determined by the server owner, so you'd have to speak to them individually, which would be a big hassle

Why put a maze in a game about fragging other players? This isn't a puzzle game; if you want variety, download unofficial maps from this forum, and there are also over 100 time-trial maps for download on the Forever Time-Trial server. Even if we did this, it would only work offline, because people online would just load all different versions and crashes would happen.

tbh I don't think you've really used the editor at all, or created a full map, just messed around with it,taken it at face value, and then posted a bunch of thoughts that crossed your mind.
A lot of the things you mentioned(I think, you're English is not the best) CAN be done. And if you think the editor is too "crap", then you can always create a map in Blender and import into cube2 format.

Actually, there is over a thousand commands, and if you think there should be that file, create one yourself, and don't whine about it.

Nope, you can't make maps using Blender or other 3D modeling software.

Sorry for confusion, I meant the basic layout could be created in Blender, etc. then conversion to RE format and then add materials, ents, light, playerstart, skybox, etc.

The current playermodel was created in that format too.

My one request for 1.3 is an option to disable blood/gore effects in "options" or even better
with scaling: off; barely noticeable; visible; fully visible or something similar in that meaning.

Not only I would appreciate it, some friends of mine dislike these realistic effects in games, that
are not supposed to be simulation of a true combat, apart from kids and parent's demands. I know
that someone could dispute, that blood we see basically everywhere, even kids.. in tv, in movies,
even in commercials and in many, many other games. So wouldn't be good to have at least an option here?
In RE seems blood somehow more apparent, so in my opinion this option would be useful.
