The Hunt - looking for feedback

The Hunt - looking for feedback

Its my first game and first time I ever programmed anything so, yeah...

It works best in Firefox and requires two players at one keyboard. Its version 0.1a so you need to reaload the page after the game ends to start it again:D

Here is the link:

And yes, this is open source project because... well, its Javascript - you can just view the script yourself.

Open Source and Free Software is not about "viewing the source", it's about freedom to use it.
Please read : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_software#Definition

The main idea is that you need to apply a Free license to your code in order for your game to be Free as in Freedom.

Regarding the game itself, quite original, it seems like a good idea. The text on the top is cut on the right with my firefox, so I can't read the whole sentence when there are indications.
I'd need to find someone to test it with me to test further.

If you look at the source, you will see that GPL is applied.

@MCMic open source is *not* about the freedom. it's about the practical reasons for making the source code available. if it was about the freedom to use software, it would be a completely pointless movement since the free software movement already exists.

as for the game, I'm not entirely sure what the point is. care to post some instructions?

ah. of course. neat idea. the game crashed once (100% CPU until Firefox conveniently offered to kill it), but otherwise works fine. the instructions are annoying though. I had to allow requests to wpi.edu tu get your intended effect... but that way I get the issue MCMic referred to. other than that, it's nice. you should look into hacking networking into the game. it would be cool to play against someone. :-)

Don't really know how to resolve that text issue. Maybe someone with Javascript knowledge would know something about it?
