no reward after successfully finished a challenge

Hi!

In Supertuxkart 0.7 on Ubuntu 12.04 I successfully finished the challenge which reads:
"Win a race on Show Mountain - Win a 3 lap race on Snow Mountain under 3:05 against 3 medium AI karts".
See the following screenshots:

But after that no reward was given. Is this a bug?

Also, I'd say that the game help definitely lacks some info on challenges.

Yes.

EDIT: I downloaded the official 0.7.3 build and did the challenge. It does say I get a reward, but when I click "Continue", it crashes. ???

Was the challenge icon already a cup when you tried it the first time?
The cup means: You have already won this challenge, you may do it again, but you will not win anything.

Please select one of the 2-1-3 icons that isn't locked. Don't worry I once was confused by this interface too..

Thanks for clarifying this. As I said, the game help definitely lacks some info on challenges.

BTW, many challenges are hard to win. So, I hacked them: in ~/.config/supertuxkart/challenges.xml changed all to "true"

I think if try by hard you can defeat every challenge, actualy yeah i too know what you feeling, but with hacked challenge like doesn't like exist at begin.

The upcoming version will allow people to do challenges individually in the difficulty they might prefer for a challenge. So for example if one is too hard in 'Expert', you may choose to do it in 'Medium' and otherwise complete the challenges in 'Expert'. This will need a lot of playtesting, and anyone willing to help with that is welcome to build STK from source, tweak challenges and put the changed files up here for review.
