Introduce yourself

Hi, my name is Máirín Duffy, I am an interaction designer with Red Hat and I also work on the Fedora project. My office is having a party and we are doing a STK tournament as part of the party, so I've been spending some time lately getting STK to work on Fedora with various video game controllers. It's been a little rough with some crashes and input issues so I am looking to provide some feedback, especially usability feedback as we'll be having a lot of folks who have never played STK before using it.

I currently have a (little) bit of free time. Do you guys still need C++ programmers? I see on your front page you need an XML Reader class ;)

Yes, definitely :)

Really sorry, but it seems as if I won't have time right now. I have too much reading to do and I'm also starting up a small business with a friend.
I will come back though when my assignments are finished.

Hey Everybody,
my name is Anthony and I'm an amateur 3D animator, still learning the ropes. I work exclusively in Blender 3D and working on improving my skills bit by bit. My favorite thing to do in Blender is animating, making things move, performing actions with a character I just made, etc.
you can see some of my work in my portfolio: www.anthonydm.net

I came here because Red Eclipse is my favorite shooter, and I spend hours fighting against bots and changing variables around (goddamn those variables.. hhnnngg..).
Also, I was wondering if I could help out on any or all of the projects in this community, like Red Eclipse or Lips of Suna for example. Who would I contact for that?

Hello I am Adam and I am a junior in High school

I want to be a writer and programmer for video games, unfortunately I do not have much experience. One of my teachers sent me to this site hoping I could look into more ways I can Get to were I want to be. I look forward to learning and finding ways to help.

Hi there,

I'm Shai, I'm technically a programmer but I'm interested in pretty much every aspect of gaming. With poor results so far, but I believe that will change.

Anyway, I came here after playing the horrible Hebrew translation of the awesome game SuperTuxKart. Seems like a chance for me to contribute something.

Are either of games Free? (as in freedom :-) )
Mael's Crew sounds great but it uses Unity from what I understood? That means no GNU/Linux version, right?
