new track (Dam)

new track (Dam)

Hi, I had this little idea:

What if I could make a track where you will be forced to drive along a big lake. We have many island tracks so I hope this could be original.. (I didn't check much tracks from the add-ons repository)

Main idea is to drive along a big lake (dam) where there will be many curved roads and possibilities to fall in the water, straight roads to speed up and some bumps. When you reach the dam there could be 2 ways I could implement. Road A: will go under the dam, where this will have many sharp curves, a little hill climbing and so, you could see the whole dam from there and then continue the track. Road B: will go through the dam, the road can be narrow so many drivers will have chance to fall to the water or from the dam down so it could be hard and fun...

I want to make this track light and good looking, so maybe it could be played with the main tracks someday... I can see the disadvantage in the length of this track, could be more than 1:30 seconds but I can try to scale the lake a bit so it can fit under 2 minutes or less... There could be some animation, boats in the lake, etc. pls tell me your opinion, if it is the type of track STK wants to have, what could be improved. Any idea will help, then I can start creating :) I have some blender experience

Hi,

I think it's a nice idea, the only issue I see is making a forest. Without using too many polys this is not easy :)

How about going inside the dam past turbines etc?
