Hi David,

this is a very nice first track, congratulations!

A few points i think could improve the track :
* the waterfall texture could move
* it's not clear that the hole in the middle is to be avoided
* the trees could be a bit nicer but I'm aware it's very difficult to make nice low-poly trees
* in a place there is a half-circle of "dirt" coming out of the ground, but it is single-sided only, so if you come from behind you don't see it but bump into it anyway

keep it up

Hello, I like your new project. Keep up the good work.
If you are completely finished with this project, would you like to try working on the Lincity Towers project? I need someone who can do the 3D modeling.

nice improvement, good job

just one thing, the texture of the waterfall should have transparency

next you could submit this to the add-ons website :)

You uploaded it to stkaddons, this is a good way

Regarding the track posted on stkaddons, I find it slightly confusing, the player starts in a separate area and I didn't find how to go into the other main area with the waterfall

I don't know whether you already changed it — to avoid misunderstandings, I'm speaking about the version posted on stkaddons.
The overall idea looks very nice and promising. You've got many places to play hide-and-seek, yet it may be too many: I found four totally separated areas, which makes it very hard to find your opponents in time. If you play with only 2 or 3 karts, it's not too nice: The main battle will happen in the waterfall area, but once you're left with one live, you can just run away and hide somewhere, hoping for someone else to get out first. As the border areas (such as the one player 1 starts in) only have one connection each to the main area, there is no reason to go there except to hide. This somehow spoils the virtual wideness of the arena.
Another point is the cave, and the falling water drops. IMHO they don't look too nice and don't really give a good feeling either. Speaking of the cave, maybe you could add more exits from this to the border areas, which would make the cave more important as well as allowing better hunts through the whole arena.
What I really do not like is the texture: You start in a forest besides a textured wall which seems to let you through (as it is quite transparent). However, you cannot pass it.
The only way to leave the starting area is through the thickest forest — the texture between the pillars through which you just cannot see. I'd try at least swapping these textures, making the passage easier to see.
Please don't mistake my rather harsh critique as "this arena is bad". I really like the idea and just want to help you making your track better. :)

this is a nice arena ;)
Some people are like slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't help smiling when you shove them down the stairs.

No, no, the concept is nice. The main problem about it is the texturing, and that is easily improvable. Everything else pointed out by me are merely suggestions if you want to work more on this. :)

Okay, so I was able to actually test MP on this map. I must say, it was better than I expected beforehand: It is a very, very fast map (so, quite challenging not to drop into the water somewhere), and you only want to drive in the main area, except maybe for collecting a bit nitro in the border chambers.
So, I actually like the track more now after actually playing it. The texture problem remains, though, and one additional thing I'd like to mention now as well: If you start in the cave, it's hard to find the exit if you don't know the map. Maybe you could improve this somehow.
