Thanks for the review,, Iridium. Didn't know about the third shortcut :P
I will work on the track as soon as I've got some free time.


@funto Just for the record the ground you drive on is supposed to represent astroturf and not real grass.

sorry, we can't include this track yet because we didn't receive the license statement (i.e. the author has not given us the permission to use his work) and we don't have the blender file either I think

This track get a great appearance, I especially like fog, this choise improve the quality of this track.

The bad point is that it's a difficult track, but you can make it easier doing turn announcement panels, and manage drivelines to get the AI driving better

our favorite is CC-BY-SA 3.0 ( creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ ) but you're free to choose as you wish.
Of course if you used textures or photographs or models that you didn't make yourself we will need to know where they come from. But if all textures are made by you then the license.txt file you provided is fine, thanks :)

The textures and models are all mine, the music however is very much placeholder (it's the belgian anthem I think)...

I can tell you already : congratulations, your track has been accepted into STK :D
(For now I used the same music as for Oliver's Math Class. If people find a nicer song don't hesitate though)

What I don't know yet is whether this track will make it into 0.7.3 since we already released RC1 and thus are theorically frozen. But we're discussing :)

I've fixed some small things.
-- added more cameras
-- fixed an ugly part at the first bridge
--fixed the slope a bit at the hairpin
-- changed a few powerups

By the way the normal mapping doesn't seem to work properly... Dynamic objects arent affected by lights, so the shadow rolls along with the golfballs.

Thanks, I added your changes :)

Now, I have performed a few modifications to the blend :
* convert some of the largest textures to JPEG (we kept the original PNGs)
* update texture paths so that blender finds all textures
* make a few more materials produce smoke when skidding

the updated blend can be found in our media repository ( http://supertuxkart.sourceforge.net/Media_Repo ), so if you wish to further modify the track, could you please start from the media repo version? Thanks!

just after the 2 roads join back, the path is not obvious. Could you perhaps add some arrows to indicate the way?

I added some arrows and tweaked a couple of things.

I didn't use the blend file from the repo, however i did change paths and the pngs to jpegs in my own blend and added the smoke aswell.

I guess this is the final version.
Please feel free to check it though.

Thanks a lot, very nice work :) :)

I still made a few changes for the media repository. Namely, I renamed the grass, brown rock and sky textures so that their names do not clash with other textures that come with STK. So if you do further work using the media repo version would still be welcome ;)
