Motion Blur

Would some kind soul write a little code for adding motion blur? It would make the game look so much better.

its been there from the start. /showgui postfx >> Blur3 or Blu5 oh but here's something you may not have known, /viewtype # can do splitscreen, and 3d stereo anaglyth.

^ that's not motion blur, it's "static" blur.
Motion blur is right in the options menu.

Motion blur is also on by default, and ramps up with how much damage you've sustained :P

This is the only option I *never* turn on RE... Motion blur is so annoying when you fight an opponent with a Flamer... You can't see a darn thing while the flames are blurred on your face. ARGh!

Do you mean Per Pixel Motion Blur? (like in Crysis)

It is basically damage/motion blur (in options), not a real MOTION blur. But I think that it should be pretty impressive add option for real motion blur - if you reach some faster speed, edge of your sight will be blurred. Not much because of keeping survey, but only for impression of high speed.

Here is how I think it. I don't have Photoshop, so imagine the "sharp" field of view more sharpen. Blurred is only edge with smooth fade to red frontier. Playability is really not much affected and blur is appeared only in high speed movements.

That kind of Motion Blur would be nice to have, particularly in Parkour mode.

(Seriously though; would prefer GooshGoosh's example, you shouldn't blur out the weapon)

It is logical that HUD and player model shouldn't be blurred. I should have made better example picture to keep this part sharp. But from picture that GooshGoosh made, you can see blur even in the area near to crosshair. And it is unsuitable, even distracting, if in FPS game is blurred also area near to the crosshair. That is why I suggested only just edges of sight (except HUD and player model) to the area of red frontier I marked.

Set "inventoryscore" to a number greater than one (1). It was tweaked to reduce default HUD clutter.
