I had a chat with Arthur about this, and it appears there was a misunderstanding. So I might just explain my idea again: we add one image to the list of screenshots, and this image is just the highscore list. So initially you would see the highscore list (for say 2 seconds), then you would see the first track, then the seconds, ..., last track, then again the highscores. This way we would not need additional screenspace, and would still have all current information around. I still think that this might be a nice option to display the highscores.
Of course this is independent of some kind of visual effect to blend from one image to the next. And we could perhaps display the highscores after each image(?). And/or perhaps display the actual times for each track as an overlay as well, e.g.:
- display overall GP times highscore
- blend to image of track 1
- after (say) 1 sec blend in the times for this particular track
- after (say) 1 sec, blend to image of track 2,
etc.
