Supertuxkart Time trial challenge - XR591

Hi fellow Supertuxkarters!
In the absence of an online Time Trials mode in 0.7.2 RC1, I've created this little thread to see if we can best each other's times and to have a little competition

Time - 02:45:78

How I did it: Time trial mode, 3 laps, I DID NOT use zippers (you can if you want to, I didn't here).

What time do you do when you do the FULL course???

I didn't even know that this shortcut was possible... that's definitely something to be fixed
Well, I think this is a very nice idea. I'm going to participate in it if I find enough time this weekend

However, using shortcuts should IMO be "banned".

EDIT:
I just gave it a shot. Three laps XR591 in TT mode, three zippers used, no shortcuts. Bad play, because I had too many other programs open (so the frame rate was too low).
Result: 2:59:17. Video capture is currently rendering; I still need to figure out a place where to upload it (because vimeo actually does not allow to do so )

Awesome if you'll participate, but this shortcut really isn't that extreme to be "fixed". If you want to, go ahead though...

Used Nitro, I presume. Ok, let's start with this time then if it matters that much, and with these settings. Let's see... I think sub-2:45 is possible. What do you guys think?

Woha. I missed some nitro, so I think sub-2:45 may be possible.
Standard speed and nitro (etc) configuration, same race specifications as asciimonster, no shortcuts, no other cheating, no off track, with zippers and nitro used. No video - I forgot to start recording.

But if asciimonster didn't even use zippers, I still have something to do...
