Crosshair Pack 1.00

Crosshair Pack 1.00

Postby fluxord » 28 May 2011, 21:20

Well after a night of hard work :twisted: , I'm glad to bring you this pack of 20 Crosshairs that can be used in Red Eclipse.
All the crosshairs were created from scratch by myself.

Here is a preview of how they look:
Image
From left to right the images are groupped in 3 (3 images = 1 crosshair):
  • crosshair;
  • hitcrosshair;
  • crosshair-whole = crosshair + hitcrosshair.
In order to use them you need to load them manually, because Red Eclipse doesn't have a menu (yet) to change the crosshairs.

An example:
{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
/crosshairtex "crosshairs/circle/circle-01"
/hitcrosshairtex "crosshairs/circle/circle-01-hit"

So, that's all. Tell me what you think about them!

I'm glad that you like them! :D
When I have more time I'll make more. I have lots of other designs that I couldn't finish yet...
UT, Quake, Sauerbraten & Serious Sam were my inspiration to make these ones :lol:

Wow :o , nice combo! Never thought about that.
I only made/included the crosshair-XX-whole.png s to show how the normal+hit ones look... so LOL, I didn't think about such bizarre combinations.
May as well use circle-05-whole.png & square-02-whole.png (weird)
So there are more crosshair combos than expected :).

I've added these to SVN and made cross-01 the default for now. Thanks for your contribution :)

I'm using simple_4 and cross hit. These are beautiful crosshairs, and I almost had an eyegasm.

Thanks for the crosshairs! Using the Circle-06 I find that I aim a lot better than normal. Very useful.

P.S: Make sure you put them in RedEclipse/Data/*here*. Took me a minute to find that out. :D

Servus! Thank you very much sir! Hope it serves for other people too.

Started working on the Crosshair Pack 2.00 a while back but then left it... I still hadn't much time to do more crosshair editing though. (darn Assault Cube *sigh*).
