Can't use any add-on tracks/carts?

Can't use any add-on tracks/carts?

Mac 10.6.7, STK 0.7.1b official - I've downloaded a number of karts and tracks and installed them correctly per the instructions (show app contents: resources: data: karts|tracks) . They do not appear in game. Am I missing a step to enable them so that they show up?

Could you list in detail everything you did from the download to STK's launch ?
