Mouses is not supported in the list of the devices, its was in Stk v0.6.
It'll be good to have it back.

Hi,

did mouse actually work in STK 0.6? I honestly don't remember ever playing with mouse so I'm not sure how it would work, nor that anyone would want to use it

I don't have 0.6 installed anymore, could you describe how mouse was used?

Sorry to bump an old topic, better than starting a duplicate though. Can I add my vote to requesting mouse steering support? Its how I drive in other open source racing games (Speed Dreams etc) and its far more intuitive than the binary on/off arrow keys. For me its absence greatly limits the enjoyment I get from this game, as I usually end up cursing the controls & quitting.

being able to use a 9 button mouse by itself would be nice.
I'd probably use:
mouse forward = accelerate
mouse back = brake
mouse left = left turn
mouse right = right turn
right click = sharp turn
left click= fire
thumb (far left)= look back
pinkie (far right)= nitro

well it's possible but we are only 2 core developers with a lot on our plates so I cannot garantee anything unfortunately

My 4 year old daughter complains that daddy spends too much time in front of the computer ... and while she likes your idea, he should just ask someone to provide a patch, so that her dad has time to play with her ;) ;)

Cheers,
