Looking for a particular map...

Hello everyone!

Lord willing, I'm looking to find a particular map that I thought was available in the 0.6.x series (but apparently is not.) I don't remember the name of it but I thought it had the word "Tux"in it. I remember the map had gates and orange or red traffic cones one would find in construction zones in one or two places on the racetrack. Does anyone know the name of this track and where I can download a copy of it to use in SuperTuxKart 0.6.2a? Thank you, I appreciate it!

I don't know if this is what you search because there is not Tux in the name and because it's available in the add-ons menu but this could be what you search cuz there is a link with Tux and there are some cones too. That's the map! Thank you very much!

However, when I put the unzipped map folder into SuperTuxKart's "tracks" folder, the game doesn't see it. Is that because I need version 0.90 of the game? If so, is there a copy of the original "Tux Tollway" (that would be compatible with version 0.6.x of the game) floating around on the 'net somewhere?

Happy to know that this map is the map that you searched.
I remember why you doesn't find the map. Indeed in the old releases of STK ( around 0.4 ) this map called it Tux Tollway. And with the time and the evolution of the game one other map was created for standard game and take the place of this map .https://online.supertuxkart.net/addons. ... ux-tollway.
It's the same things for all the old standard tracks who are now in the add-ons menu and call it "Old" or "Classic".
Idk for your race but right now it's not important because the track is available in the add-on menu. For a 0.6 release I think you can go there https://sourceforge.net/projects/supert ... art/0.6.2/
But there Classic Tollaway was already removed and Tux Tollway was there. Look then at 0.4

Not sure this links work but it's the only way to download this releases.
I give you the link of the release because i don't think it exists release itself of the map under 0.4 . Maybe you can get it by installing the 0.4 version.
Maybe this that you have in the add-ons menu is tha same.

I installed version 0.4 and it indeed has the map I'm looking for, however, when I saved a copy of if (the entire folder) and installed it in version 0.6.1 (after deleting the map that was installed in that version,) the game still played the newer version of "Tux Tollway." Was there something I did wrong? Whether I did or not, is there a way to get the older map to work in 0.6.1?
