New: Revision 7963 for i686 (32-bit):

supertuxkart-0.7.1-svn7963-linux-glibc2.12-i686.tar.bz2

New:

- smaller package size
- more animations
- STK is become faster

With ./run_game.sh you can start STK :)

I've just tested the 64bit version, it works like a charm !

How many times did you build STK ? A lot I guess... It must take a looot of time to find versions of required packages and dependencies, solve linkage errors, etc etc

Each time I download a source to build it myself I get a whole bunch of linkage errors, so I am really impressed by your releases for every kind of architecture ! Very pro !

There is a problem with Revision 7985 on PowerPC-Linux:

Image

On 7900 was everything ok. I use the free Xorg driver "radeon" with 3D support.

I like the lightning effect in "around the lighthouse", however... the effect happens too often and after the fifth lightning, my eyes hurt (I stopped playing this track after that). The lightning shouldn't be so often and not so intense.

There is some issue with the radeon driver. First, I think you should try to use the latest version of ubuntu, 9.10 is a bit old ;)

xeno74, I'm also suffering from driver problems last days (yep, mesa driver from git, so it can be fixed...or not), though I've got an intel C2D, not a powerPC

There is a long time you didn't made a static package for linux Xeno.

Could it be possible, when you get time to send us one ?

Can you be more specific what you mean with "can't download"?

Why are you trying to download 0.7.1? Just go to http://supertuxkart.sourceforge.net/Downloads and download 0.7.2
