ok this is not the problem.

If I make my preferred association, mostly default in driving game, same problem, the menu is automatically scrolled from top to bottom.

ps: I noticed that analog stick is well recognized, instead analog trigger (RT , LT) are not always recognized at the first push (this can be useful to bugtest)

not every gamepad have this kind of buttons (RT,LT), maybe no devel test the game with this gamepad / configuration?

(using xboxdrv 0.7.1)


Hi,

getting the default settings right for everyone (and every gamepad type) is very difficult so it's expected you need to manually configure it.

Can you run this STK from terminal using --gamepad-visualisation , and check if some axes are constantly pressed?

So --gamepad-debug says some axes are constantly pressed but --gamepad-visualisation says otherwise?? :( If this is the case then it's really a case for bug report but I'm puzzled

I'm using Xbox 360 gamepad on Kubuntu 10.10 and it works perfect. No Problem with RT and LT.The digital pad doesn't work at all but using the left stick in menu works good.

when you said me to put --gamepad-debug i didn't understand that I had to not push any button.

however I tested the game with xpad driver, and it work, so the problem is with xboxdrv driver...

the problem is that XBMC works only with xboxdrv... :(
