I don't see this as a problem at all: it should be made obvious in the track design that this zipper is meant to help you in the jump. I doubt that anyone will care or even notice if this zipper is faster/slower than other zippers. It will be obvious from the context. We just shouldn't start misusing this in all kind of non-jumping zippers.
