Yeah, but if you think about it all these lights have very little in common other than being adjustable lights.

But somehow @Lyberta I would have not guessed that you are a person that has controllable RGB lights on everything ;)

This is easily solvable by using different backend for different brands. SANE uses think, CUPS probably too, libratbag too that I use for my mouse.


For different mouses probably yes, or different keyboard brands etc. But all the different lights in all the completely different systems? Seems unlikely that such a system would work, and there is little pressure for supplies to standardize on a common API or such.
