[Ideas] Some ideas for STK

Hello, i created this topic for posted some ideas for stk ;)

NEW ITEM :

- Jelly that freezes the adversary for 3 to 5 seconds
- Paint bucket that slides the adversary (not same as chewing Gum who slow motion the kart)
- Bubblegum floating on the track and exlose in contact with a kart

NEW GAME MODE :
- A fighting race : eliminate competitors adversary before you are eleminate by us
( 2 options for this mode)
* Option 1 (Classic) :
Description : When you touch ennemy kart with an item (cake, bomb, ball....), he losoe one life, when the kart fall on the water, lava, space .... he loose one life , when the kart rescue, he loose one life.
Level of difficulty :
Easy : Me: 5 life /adversary : 3 life
Normal : Me : 5 life for all kart
Hard : Me :3 vies /adversary 5 vies
SuperTux : Me : 2 life/adversary 5 vies


* Option 2 (best option) :
All karts begin 100 % Life, Item lowers % :

Chewing Gum : - 5 %
Parachute : - 5 %
Ventouse : - 5 %
Encre : - 10 %
Tapette : - 10 %
Boule de bowling : - 10 %
Gâteaux : - 15 %
Bomb : - 20 %
Balon de bastket : - 25 %

Wizz : + 5 %
Bubblegum : + 10 %


KARTS, SCENARIO & QUESTS :

Add : Penny, Eviltux & Mozilla
Delete : Sara The Racer

The principal quest of Tux is to help Gnu it could have secondary quests

Example :
- Rescue penny who has been kidnapped
- Fight Mozilla on the race for unloack "Fort Magma"
- Collect 15 coins (coins include on the next version) for Suzanne
- ....


Challenge :
- Make the first looping ( required "Newton" Track)
- Magnetic (required " Antartica" Track")
- Explore the space ( Required "Planetarium/Luna/Galaxy" track)
- First race in City (Candela)
- Explore Amazonia (Cacao Temple)
- Travel with plane (Gran Pradisio)
- ....

All challenge successful : Player got a suprise :)

Hello Ludsky!

I liked a lot of these ideas and I wanna see future versions of STK with some of those innovations suggested by you. We know that the team is small, but maybe they can choose one or two to add to the game. :)

Sounds the same as 3-Strikes battle (make sure you are using STK 0.9.2, otherwise it won't show up in singleplayer mode).
Contributor to/fan of STK (Upstreamed Cartoon theme, numerous random big fixes/tweaks)

NEW IDEA GAME MODE : Race with team
Max : 4 Teams : Yellow, Red, Blue & Green

Make a race with your team : You can choose the karts that will go in your team Or random
The goal of the game is that your team wins the most points by placing to the top places of the ranking

The different difficulties according to the chosen mode :

Easy mode : You can't destroy the people on your team with all object. And you can not give a bomb, parachute to your team
Normal mode : You can give a bomb & parachute to your team
Difficult mode : You can give a bomb & parachute to your team + You can use basket ball and swatter to your team.
Very Hard mode : You can destroy your team with all object, warning !

NEW ITEM IDEA :
- bubbles of soap that the karts reject from behind : the karts behind would not see anything, just a beautiful bubble ^^

NEW IDEA GAME MODE : The Flag
(Somes possibilities for this game)

- The first is : several flags appear on the track and it is necessary to collect as much as possible

- The second : One flag appear on the track/or arena. The first kart who touch the flag win 1 point. This game is played in several parts or laps.

- The Third : Is on the game arena . For 2, 3 or 4 Team. But for example, i take for 2 teams.
* Each team at a camp with a flag (Team Red VS Team Green for example)
* Team Red : must take the green flag and bring him back to his red camp (Same the green team)
* Team Red win one point if he brings the flag to his red camp(same for green team)

The kart loose the flag with cake, swatter, ball & banana

Why not just CTF like openarena? (I may have the interests for a CTF in battle mode of network stk...)

You can just replace the .ogg files in STK's data folder.

Same as the "reverse" option; it' will be great to put all official tracks in night and day version (with option)

Hello STK-Friends, :-)

well, maybe I have a good idea for STK-Network-Version.
As some STK developers and STK friends already know, I test the STK network very intensively.
That's why I'm always happy when several players are online. :-)
And all are super friendly, have a lot of humor and fun with STK-Network. ;-)
However, it can not be recognized, which nationality a player belongs to, why me as a German often happened that I tried to communicate with another German player in English - and that with my extremely small English. lol
So now my question: Would it be possible to implement a country flag (or shortcuts such as 'USA', 'FR', 'DE', etc), which may be linked to the selected language selection in STK, so that all players can see who with whom in which language can communicate?
