Is there a walk cycle For the penny sprite? Because It would be important for cut scenes.

Making one would be neat! I think Penny looks a bit boring how she doesn't move.

All you have to do is copy and paste them into your web browser, then you can control-click or right-click to download them! ;)

You can use any program you want that can create .png graphics, so something like Paint would be enough. But most artists draw their graphics by hand and scan them or use a graphics tablet and scale the images down in size.

TuxPaint isn't good for making game graphics, since its images are always 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels tall. (For reference, the size of a SuperTux block is 32x32.) I recommend something like GIMP Image Editor for graphics, since you can choose how big you want the image to be.

I meant something like Microsoft Paint or KolourPaint if you are using Linux. Sure, you can use GIMP, too.

How I think the intro should be:
Tux and Penny walk together with Tux holding a picnic basket (possibly full of fish). They drop it and sit down on opposite sides of the basket, with Penny facing a supposedly normal bush. Tux and Penny talk (or do something filler) when all of the sudden the bush rustles and Nolok pounces out of it (or maybe jumps out and uses some sort of magic power but that'd take a lot of animating), and then the screen turns to white (with maybe some sort of hit particle for added flair), fades to black, and then fades in with Tux lying alone on the floor with the picnic basket. Tux wakes up, and sees a note on the ground. He looks down at the note and a dialog box appears reading Nolok's victorious rant or something. Tux then runs offscreen and goes on his (probably never ending) quest to find Penny.

Animations needed for said cutscene:
• Penny walking
• Tux walking with a picnic basket
• Penny and Tux sitting
• Bush leaves scattering due to the bush rustling and maybe better bush rustle effect than the sprite vibrating
• Nolok jumping/pouncing out of a bush
• Tux asleep on the ground
• Tux getting up from lying down
• Tux looking down
• A paper note on the ground
