Great thanks for this wonderfull game!
One Question: Since Ubuntu updated via ppa to 0.9.3-RC there no longer are visuals for the drift and the use of Nitro. The sound is still there but not the grafic effect.
Is this on purpose or a bug?

Check your graphical options in the options menu, maybe particles are disabled?

I found an issue: If you create an random grand Prix, you are not able to save the grand Prix or finish the grand Prix later.
Would be nice if this could be fixed.

Thank you for the game and now also for the android release.

I can see that the android release requires android 4.4 (or above). Unfortunately, I have a device running android 4.3 without option to upgrade. I believe it is powerful enough to run SuperTuxCart. It is HP SlateBook 10 x2 PC, with Processor NVIDIA T40S 1.8-GHz processor (4-plus-1, quad), Chipset NVIDIA Tegra 4, ARM Cortex-A15 MPCore, 2 GB RAM, FullHD 10" display, detachable physical keyboard. We are primarily running the game on Windows PC. We would be happy if we can take it with us on our tablet pc.

Would it be please possible to install and run it on this 4.3 device? I would not complain if anything appears to be problematic.

Are you able to compile it yourself? Current version compiles fine for Android 4.3. You only need to change these lines in make.sh:

export NDK_PLATFORM_ARMV7=android-19
export SDK_VERSION_ARMV7=19

to

export NDK_PLATFORM_ARMV7=android-18
export SDK_VERSION_ARMV7=18

Or I can provide unofficial builds for android >= 4.0 after final release, because I need it for my phone anyway. Actually the modifications are available here if someone needs it: https://github.com/deveee/stk-code/tree/android-4.2

I would try but it would need some study and testing as I have no experience with this at all. So I would rather take your unofficial build when you compile it. Thank you. I suppose you mean final 0.9.3 (not final 1.0, that would push me to try to compile it myself).
I already briefly tested the android release on low-end phone (lg k8) and it was running pretty well with graphics details at level 2. Level 3 is unsable on this device. I am curious if I would be able to control it by the physical keyboard on the android tablet.

Very good work. The gameplay and graphical improvements are enormous. I am impressed :) . One note for the vegetation shader: The idea to move the vertices at random is really cool for most plants and trees, but with flags and some smaller plants it looks very strange.

If this is easy to do, it would be cool to have two options for exporting: random (the new vegetation shader) or linear (the old vegetation shader).
Greetings.

i had to disabling the pipeline in the options graphics, it's to heavy for my graphic card to do the job including in the lowest resolution, it's lower a lot the fps, without the pipeline, the fps stay stays stable in 60 fps and more in 1080p.

Good job on this version ;) . I kinda stopped looking at the project because my previous computer was crap and I wasn't able to run the latest versions of the game.

I'm glad people are still working hard on it. I may contribute again in the future.

Welcome back, Totoplus62!
The game runs easily, but is there a recording mode? Where's this? I can't see one.

Thanxs, but I think this doesn't apply to my OSs (Windows 8 and Android Jelly Bean). :(

Actually on Windows everything should work except H.264 encoding. Sorry for the confusion, but the wiki has to cover all the platforms.
