Hi all,
I am currently developing a small space simulation game called SpaceGates!
The goal is to go through a serie of space gates as fast as possible by piloting a small space ship.
The game is at its early version but it is fully playable.
Here is a first screenshot that shows the start of the mission:
Another screenshot during the mission:

The game is a good way to test your ability to pilot a spaceship with quite simplified flight laws (it almost fly like an airplane).
Here is a very short video capture that show some features of the game:

I have also made a small video with a cool soundtrack available here:

The game uses Urho3D as the main 3D engine and is developed in C++. For the moment, it is compiled for Linux but I have already compiled it for Windows since the 3D engine exists on several platforms. I have designed that game mainly to understand how the 3D engine can be used and to figure out how easy it is to set it up.
I would like to add more features and more realism. For example, I plan to add broadcast radio messages to avoid that the pilot feels alone by adding radio simulated messages at some key points during the simulation, and depending on the situation. For example, if the player crosses a space gate from the wrong side, an operator from a control center somewhere is going to broadcast a radio message to tell him that he has done something wrong.
I started to record my own voice for very few messages, and using Audacity, I transformed those messages in such a way that they seem to get out from a radio loudspeakers.
But my french accent is quite awful and I get scared when I hear my own voice
Consequently, I am looking for people who will accept to record their own voice by reading a set of messages I am currently finalizing. I would like to have male and female voice messages in English at first. Then why not in other languages if this is your native one !
The set of message is quite reduced, less than 50 short messages and you can record all the messages in one single wav file that I will cut afterward, transform with Audacity and then integrate in the game. I will post a text file containing the messages to record in that post as soon as the list is finished.
There is nothing to earn since it is a purely amateur project which will be available under the GPL. However, your name will be displayed in the game credits (if you agree of course).
So, enjoy the short videos and thanks in advance four your help.
Cheers.
