The Thief (aka Adventurer by Danimal)

Hello Guys,

as you can see in the newest two Videos I just put Danimals Adventurer as Thief right inside the game Link to Video-Thread.

This thread is adressed to artists or danimal directly: Do you would like to make a normalMap? The normalMap I created and show in the Video makes him look like a zombie! :o
(I just used Gimp and the normalmap mapper)

Edit: Do you also like to make an rendered Picture of him for the GUI? :)

What do you need on the rendering? a file with alpha map? i can easily give a .tga if its that. Regarding normal, expect them sometime soon.

Yes PNG with Alpha Map is perfect for the GUI. Can you make an High-Res .tga and a low res PNG with 66x100 Dimension like the others? The TGA as an basis for later (should be in the Assets-Sources Folder) if we want to change the GUI someday.
Do you have an Google-Account? So I can give you SVN-Write-Access and you can push the changes if you want. :)

If you check out the newest SVN (and also update maven dependencies with "force update" settings) you can find a thief_item.png in the gui folder that is already in the game.

You can just easily replace that picture with a better one.

I finished the .png and .tga ; the png is 66x122 to keep proportions. Is this your google email? PhilWillxxxxx@gmail.com, ill mail you when you confirm it. I also made a small change to make him more of a thief and added a money bag (only in portrait, not in 3d model).

Did you check out the latest Version? SVN-> Update?
After each SVN Update you should also clean (right click -> clean) and refresh (right click refresh or press F5 on Root-Folder) the Project to make sure everything is reloaded correctly.

PS: There is bug right now I have to let inside, so when they got the first time Tired and Sleep the controlling Agent is killed in the background...but dont worry we fixing it tomorrow... :) :) :)

PS2: If you check out the newest Version and he show you some Errors in Eclise do this steps here: AgentKeeper Help Thread -> Maven Updates

@Danimal you are still invited to rerender the others.

Do you like to make an normal map someday for your Adventurer or an Sleep-Animation?

Good Idea, I already tried.
But the problem is, I need an animation where he just stay in the sleep position. The Death Animation just let him die frequently again and again.... ^^ looks funny but is not that what I want.

The loop-control (on/off) is not working yet...thats why :)

one frame would be enough of course , but a small "sleep" animation would look better with minimal movement or something like that.
