I need help!

Postby Anniemoose98 » 21 May 2010, 21:29

Every time I open SuperTux Kart for Mac on my Mac OS X Tiger computer it immediately closes. The crash log records as followed:

Command: supertuxkart
Path: /Volumes/SuperTuxKart 0.6.2/SuperTuxKart.app/Contents/MacOS/supertuxkart
Parent: WindowServer [61]

Version: 0.6.2 (0.6.2)

PID: 3406
Thread: Unknown

Link (dyld) error:

Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libiconv.2.dylib
Referenced from: /Volumes/SuperTuxKart 0.6.2/SuperTuxKart.app/Contents/MacOS/../libs-intel/libintl.8.0.2.dylib
Reason: Incompatible library version: libintl.8.0.2.dylib requires version 7.0.0 or later, but libiconv.2.dylib provides version 5.0.0

What do I do/download? I REALLY want to play but can't!

Please Help,

Hi,

first of all, is it a PPC mac or an intel mac? If I remember correctly, 0.6.2 has no support for OS X 10.4 intel macs (however, if this is your case, you can work around it by running the PPC version in Rosetta)

Oh... that explains A LOT. It is the one of the first intel Macs. I got the version off the Mac website and that runs great.

Ok, this is a slightly older version. You won't miss any feature, but a couple bugfixes
