The directory path in the zip file does not match the path in the XML files:
{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
[Irrlicht Error] Could not load mesh, because file could not be opened: : ./data
/tracks/magic island/untitled_track.b3d
Warning: Main track model 'track' in 'untitled_track.b3d' not found, aborting.

Moreover, there a few issues I spotted:
1. The track is set to the "standard" group. This is not allowed, it should be "Add-Ons".
2. The name of the track is "magic island", but the zip is called "mystic island".
3. The license.txt file does not contain an image attribution. If it is your own work (and not derived from other artwork), please state that in the file.
4. Folder names contain spaces, this should be avoided, since the game runs on several platforms.
5. It was not uploaded to the addon website (stkaddons.net) :)

the track can run in any section it wants. it should be in Add-ons but doesn't have to, or maybe in the WIP section
asciimonster {l Wrote}:5. It was not uploaded to the addon website (stkaddons.net) :)

this is a work in progress so that is why it is not uploaded

Conventions exist to be followed. Having your track appear in the "standard" tab may confuse people who install this WIP, forget about it, and later think it's an official one; which in turn might cause trouble.

I have the same rescue problem, every kart starts getting rescued if he tries to cross the bridge. Even AI opponents get stuck at the eternal rescue loop.

Hm, KTris counter reported over 230 KTris at places, which means at certain points in the track, over 230 000 triangles are rendered. That's waaay too much for a lot of hardware.

WHOA. This is by far one of the best, maybe even THE best looking STK track I have seen.

This is due mainly to the fact that EVERY OTHER STK track has NO or barely any track animations. This track feels so alive when you look at it :D

Well, I didn't see any big KTris numbers, probably due to the fact that I get stuck in the rescue loop halfway through the bridge. aaah :o

Love to play the whole thing and report any further issues, but the bridge must be fixed

maybe you should try to use LOD for some of you models to make it a bit(a lot) faster? http://supertuxkart.sourceforge.net/Track_Maker%27s_Guide#Level_of_Detail

The exported model is missing in the latest archive. That's why STK shuts down, because it has nothing to work with.
