qubodup {l Wrote}:I think the paper needs to be darker for that. Using GIMP´s colors/levels tool might be of help. A good example (but with a bad license ) is http://wingsofahero.deviantart.com/art/ ... -117552813 !
Not bad besides the lightness

svenskmand {l Wrote}:Now a tat lighter, I think the text is more readable now
Here is the two source files for the two textures. I was not allowed to put the tgr files up, so i zipped them and added them. The svg where the stuff is put together, along with the borders on the pergament I will upload when I have figured out how to fix the annyoing tiling error :S

Great work svenskmand, these are very good, although I preferred the logo not having the paper background layer.

svenskmand {l Wrote}:Well it also looked dull if it was not there. You are welcome to give a better idea, as I will admit this one is not perfect
svenskmand {l Wrote}:Here it is with the paper behind the logo removed, but I still thinks that something is missing at the logo :S
svenskmand {l Wrote}:Any ideas is very welcome.
Skorpio {l Wrote}:Looks already pretty good, but I think there's too much detail in your parchment texture. You can see too many repeating patterns, and it could still be a bit brighter. And on the background texture I would reduce the saturation of the brown parts a little bit. I attached the modified parchment texture. Readability is more important than fancy graphics on the wiki, so the details and contrasts should be very subtle. Actually I liked the look of your second screenshot.
