0.7 menu

I just looked at the menu for 0.7 and it looked cool but seemed boringin comparasin to the old background. So how about the stk logo falling from the top and bouncing with squishy physics and the other icons poping up after eachother? I will make a video soon on how I imagine this. Also a sound menu (inspired by the German stk website) would be nice. And some animation like the tux kart (from above-and-side-view-but-more-above-view) drifting over the whole menu lieving skidmaks and smoke. Or a mini "game": you steer a tiny kart (2D above) a simple race against the other cars (infinity laps) around the menu.

the background is dependent on the Skin if I remember correctly, and we do plan to get other skins

Your other ideas are nice, and I did have similar ideas, but also understand that there are many other priorities at the moment The menus are still incomplete, so I will complete them to be on par with 0.6 level before adding much new eye candy
