The German translation in STK is using 'Du" - which I think is just fine considering what kind of game STK is. But you might also consider just doing some smart rephrasing (e.g. using passive voice, ...):
"Willst Du den Spieler loeschen" --> "Soll der Spieler geloescht werden".
"... Du kannst auf das Symbol klicken" --> "Man kann auf das Symbol klicken"
etc. But I agree that this might sometimes sound awkward (or just be impossible). But reducing the number of instances in which you have to decide if you want to use "Du" or "Sie" is a good thing. And other people might come up with other ways of removing the remaining 'Du"/"Sie' sentences.
