GPL usable models

I found some models that are open source or gpl and they look really nice, i think we could use some of them, especially this ones:

Models from Ryzom is a bit of a problem, cause you need 3DMax to open them...

I have not thought about that when I wrote my post. Indeed it is a problem.

Blender should have a 3ds import script. At least this is what the German documentation says.

Sadly, it's not .3ds but .max and you can't import it with Blender.

I see... It's still possible to ask the Ryzom team to convert them. Or download a trial version of 3ds max and export them (if possible in trial version).
