While I quite enjoyed playing on an Amiga 500 at a friends house back in the day... emulation for this system never quite managed to attracted my attention. Some how there are other systems from the era that are more convenient to emulate

The 6502 was never a supercomputer, so emulating a C64 on a modern computer is pretty straightforward. On the other hand, a 68k from an Amiga is like a 486, so you'd better have a beast of a machine or some really efficient code. The desktop environment isn't as simple either. I've never had the experience of an Amiga, but from reading about it, it sounds like it would take a lot to re-create it.
