Just a heads up: Ethernet mode is broken in this release. But this is no biggie since it can be fixed server-side and the main point of this release is to test the new Team Elimination mode.

I hope the water contact isn't insta-kill, as that would seem a bit too much.

Sorry, it is currently insta-kill (just like in rotc).

I see. Funny idea: would it be somehow possible to allow fast movement over water by "skipping" (bunny hopping) or with the etherboard or something like that, that maybe takes some skill to do?

Everything is possible ;) Depending on the specifics it just might take some time to implement. I'm not dead-set of having water destroy CATs. That function could just as easily be served by some kind of "laser barrier". Then water could be used to slow down CAT movement for example.

Ok got around to testing it. The new jump sound is a bit weak I think, and I got some more or less random crashes back to the desktop in TE mode (my guess is that it was somehow related to dying in the water and/or going into etherform mode; I seem to be able to recreated it my jumping in the water, then respawn and immediately dematerialize with alt+right_mouse).

Thanks for implementing the tab player view!
