QUESTION: Standard RE animation set weapon positions

QUESTION: Standard RE animation set weapon positions

Postby Julius » 31 Jan 2013, 22:18

Just wondering about one "feature" from RE that I have always really disliked: Why are all the weapons (except the sword) hold like a pistol by the in game model (not the 1st person ones)? I don't think it is just a style, or lack of animations questions, so I assume there is some reason behind?

It is merely a lack of animations, LuckyStrikeRx is actually working on some in SVN right now. Cube 2 was really originally written for md2 models with static vweps.

Ahh, ok. Sounds great and saves me the trouble of trying to figure out how to fix that ;) I assume it is planned to have a small update of those for the new release?
