coming today, in a few hours
and it will be the first track using a new sky (I will upload them in a separate PR, which then is only skies, including sun positions for the other hdr based ones)

I am also more and more awaiting the 2.8 release, even 3.0 so much now..

What do you think, at least how long it takes until 2.8 is released?

Hmm, what do you expect from 2.8? I mean we have all in repos. Even auto built binaries for windows, should work.
It's not a big issue to release it, still some time needed. Could be done this weekend I guess.
I would need to finally drive all new tracks and make their ghosts :D, then get better times in tracks.ini, and add new tracks (with some logic) into champs and challs .xml (possibly making new), test stuff etc.
I don't have old SR built yet on my new PC, will probably do. I think I could do that in SR3 too, will see.

and for 2.8, I expect is just as a content update release, and some bug fixes, what I have in my mind, like the nasty vegetation bug in 2.7 that is now fixed.
And some more tracks from you would be cool, especially what you make with my new assets I added.

I merged all. Didn't actually test it, since I don't have old SR yet, ah I need to get it back soon.
Will comment on new tracks after then. For spring I saw some nice blooming trees, like e.g.:

I already started another track, because I got another crazy and cool idea, and in stone scenery, where currently there is only one..

And I plan to add some new objects later too, so if you have an idea, something to add you like and what fits this scenery, I could add it, if you post some links for that.

Cool. Indeed Stone scenery was feeling alone with 1 track. Well still it's a gray and dull scenery so ok.

This will be another long (and extremely frenzy) track, very difficult, you are driving through acid too

Sounds awesome, can't wait.
Well I had trouble building old SR, so I'll test in SR3 only for now.
I'm not sure if you can even put those big trucks here anywhere, seemed more doable with first screen when it was flat here :).

I also reduced the poly count from 54,6K to 26,6K tris

I'm adding all stuff to SR3 too, need it before I can test it fully :) I had trouble and didn't build old SR.

Awesome. I'm like a year now busy with just coding so I really like when people make new tracks.
Fantastic track this Stn2-UltraFrenzy. Yeah it will be difficulty 7, even if it felt like I didn't rewind so much to complete it as in HyperLoops (on which some places even seem like unfixed errors, I'll try someday), but it has same value of sigma (sum of difficulties) so it's okay for 7.
I like the setting. Cool acid, this added green, so isn't just gray. And new objects also fit great. I had a thought about replacing some of those old asphalt pipes to e.g. these fences from our favorite texture artist. But I'm still busy coding and fixing stuff in SR3.
It seems I can't side jump at 58% in reversed. I had a similar issue on MilkyWay, I'll fix it soon.
I've been doing new tracks ghosts recently, and pushed most to old SR repo too. So after pulling it, racing line will be present too.

Very nice. It's all fitting Finland scenery very well, also really cool sky.
I'm dealing today with more horizon updates for SR3 tracks.

another track in production again, really long, fast anf crazy, I had the average speed of 168 km/h

has a gigantic loop, giant pipe segments and a really long jump, oh, and extremely tall with a DROP from 1600 meters. Though this track has really low damage too

Oh wow, sounds quite interesting.
I drove the TreeTops track in SR3, it's nice not difficult, not too short and has very nice setting. It's cool for vehicle lights too in SR3.
