0W13- MtFog [in ver 2.1]

Here is my sixth track: “MtFog” (Which is short for: “Mount Fog”)

This track is set in a snowy mountain with very dense fog. To make things worse the road is almost undistinguishable from the terrain. Luckily for you, there is lots of grass to help you to not to lose the orientation. You need it because the track is dangerous; there are abysses. The simple rule is: grass = no road, no grass = almost certainly the road. I tried hard to “mark” every abyss with some extra-terrain for grass but your safest bet is to drive slowly in your first tries.
I noticed that this track would work very well with other sceneries as well. The best examples are mud and forest. But I chose winter because it fits very well to the fog. There are currently only a few tracks with dense fog, so I increase that number by one. I hope this track is also a candidate for the “Heavy Weather” championship.

For those who want an extra-challenge I suggest to turn off the minimap ([F8]) and the checkpoint arrow (somewhere in options menu). :)
I intentially do not post the minimap because you should find the way yourself. :P (Yeah, I do know that you still see the minimap in the track selection menu. Just try to ignore it to have your extra-challenge).

Don’t be fooled! The part without grass is not just scenery, it’s the track.

Awesome. I love such extreme tracks (and also if they are not too short).
Took me 4 tries to get past 1st corner :)
It'll be 0W13-MtFog and I'm also adding it to championship "Extreme weather".

Hi, I just noticed a small technical problem with the track. I think I have set the visibility distance a bit too low. The trees turn to imposters fairly early which destroys the fog effect, of course. Doubling both the 3D model distance and the imposter distance should do the trick, the new values are still pretty low but high enough so that the trees don’t turn into imposters while they are in the visible range.
I don’t upload a new track because the change is so trivial.
