Update on road splitting

Hi!

I've just downloaded Stunt Rally and I must say it is a lot of fun. While playing it, I really thought about how it would be great to have tracks splitting in several branches and then joining back together. I didn't see any way to achieve this in the track editor and I even saw it had been submitted as an issue on the Google Code website (issue 235 : https://code.google.com/p/vdrift-ogre/issues/detail?id=235).

In summary, I was wondering about the state of the development process regarding road splitting. I would also gladly contribute towards its implementation if such help is welcome, as I have some experience with C++ programming.

Yeah nothing happened in this matter since over a year. Issues are really slow to complete.
Sure, if you can do it go ahead. Would be cool.

All right! I've cloned the source code through git and compiled it successfully. I've already begun looking at it but I was wondering if you had any special indications on where to start and what parts of the code I'd have to modify.
