I really noticed that with the terrain differences there wasn't differences in type of rumble. I was thinking maybe the different roads: example: asphalt vs. gravel. -- Snow studded tires vs. smooth vs. flat This is one example where there would be different types of bumps so different rumble feedback effects. To get different car animations, car responses to different environments may need to be tested.
Maybe people could storyboard out actions for each of the cars. Probably each car would have a different physics or impact model because each car is different.
