I had to tweak a lot the settings of SR in order to fit it to my tastes and machine capabilities, and I experienced a lot of crashes shortly after having changed something in the settings. I also learned that SR doesn't save the settings after each change, but rather when exiting (normally). As a result, when changing a setting it is wise to exit and restart the game because a crash is likely to occur that will lose the changes.
