Editor minimap shows arrow always

In the editor, you can change the map type to show a brush ([Shift]+[F2] or [Shift]+[F3]). But in this mode there is still a camera icon (the small arrow) visible. You also can disable the map with these keys but the arrow is still visible as well.
Note this is only the case when in the options the map is activated. If the map is deactivated in the options, the map is never shown and no arrow as well.
