Repeatable crash in 1.9

I have no idea how to use the bug tracker, so I'll post here. I don't see this anywhere on the tracker.

Win7 Home Premium
Stunt rally version 1.9
everything else is in logs deleted logs because they weren't needed

How to do:
1. Start game.
2. Upon reaching the main menu, go to the replays submenu.
3. Open any replay.
4. Wait for replay to load.
5. The gui is displayed and works properly, but instead of starting the replay, it shows the menu background. The gui still works, though. (Screenshot is of this step)
6. From here, go to any track in single race or championship.
----------6A. Attempting to load another replay will lead to the same results that steps 3-5 produce.
7. Game crashes when it tries to load any track in race mode after the bug has been triggered.

How to avoid:
1. Start game.
2. Upon reaching the main menu, go to the single race or championship race submenus.
3. Start a race. The game will load properly.
4. After loading a race, replays can be loaded without issues, and cause no bugs or crashes when switching to or from race mode.

Wow, thanks for reporting (and for the steps to reproduce).
I have it too. Fixing will be easier now.
I also once somehow managed to start game and drive, but with having background image, no crash, but I don't know how I did it.
