Code::Blocks in Linux can't build VT

Postby Suitecake » 20 Oct 2013, 23:48

I can't seem to build VT using Code::Blocks on Linux. No issue with C::B on Windows, but trying to build either 'Linux Debug' or 'Linux Release' produces the following build error:

||=== Build: Release Linux in Valyria Tear (compiler: GNU GCC Compiler) ===|
/usr/local/src/ValyriaTear/src/main.cpp||In function ‘int main(int, char**)’:|
/usr/local/src/ValyriaTear/src/main.cpp|509|error: ‘PKG_DATADIR’ was not declared in this scope|
||=== Build failed: 1 error(s), 0 warning(s) (0 minute(s), 54 second(s)) ===|

The CMake process indicated in the README works fine.

Posting this here to get feedback. If no one else really uses C::B for Linux development, then I'll look into it sometime (my vimfu is not sufficient for C++ development!)

Hi again :)

Indeed, I'm not using C::B for Linux development (using roughly speaking: cmake . + make here)
You might be interested to use cmake but any effort into adapting C::B Linux projects will be greatly appreciated.
