Hey RatArmy, :)

I recommend Source Han Sans Japanese for Japanese font.
It is good looking and OFL licence(same as LinLibertine).

Ok, I tried the first Japanese link but it seems to fail on my end. Still trying to download from another link.

I can't wait to play Valyria Tear in Japanese! But my boost ver is 1.60, so I can't build code on github now.

This should now be fixed, see: https://github.com/ValyriaTear/ValyriaT ... -190404772

Best regards,

Hi again, :)

This one is for you:

I just pushed an experimental translation support using only one font. You can get the latest master and try on your own, feel free to change the data/config/fonts.lua file to make test fit your needs. You may even add/modify the fonts used in the "ja" section.

Cheers, ;)

Can you please run
{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
make update-pot
and update the file on Transifex? I'd like to do a playthrough to test my translation, but it needs to be complete first.

Hi! Long time no see :)

I am planning to go through the Dutch translation at some point, because I want to make some of the lines a bit more natural. I'm seeing quite a lot of activity on GitHub, but I don't really know what the status of the game is. Therefore my question: does it make sense to go through the translation now, or would it be better to wait for a bit until there is a string freeze or something like that?

Also, are there progress updates somewhere? :)

There are no progress updates as such, just the commit log https://github.com/ValyriaTear/ValyriaT ... its/master

And there is a ticket with a general release discussion: https://github.com/ValyriaTear/ValyriaTear/issues/554

Hey there,

@WillemS:
I must say the updates are not well shown so far, as I'm struggling to find some time and get the new skill tree and game rebalancing out. I've split the next game update in "baby step" releases so that I release more often hopefully.

@Gunchleoc:
Thanks for the reminder, I've updated the pot file both in the code and in transifex.

Cheers,

Hi! I am thinking about completing the German translation, but I am not sure …

How do I translate this game without using the proprietary service called “Transifex”?

WIth poedit (for example), based on the .po files in the github repo, and sending a patch by mail, if you want to avoid any proprietary binary code path? Otherwise, using the push requests of github, but it is proprio code too.
