I've fixed in the repo, but I didn't take the time yet to update the pot file.

I'll do it asap.

The new POT has been uploaded into Transifex with fixes from dimproject and Willem1.
You can have a go at it from time to time. Most of the change are english grammar and punctuation fixes.
This way, we'll be able to move on using a different pot for the next episode, hopefully. :)

IMO it would make sense to split the current template into several ones. Maybe a template for UI elements, a template for items/skills/spells, and a template for Episode 1 scripts.

Yeah, more or less what I had in mind. I'll have a look sooner or later at all that.

Maybe something wrong with this string:

I've never been this (thus) far from the village without Herth. This place gives me the chills.

No this string is fine, it was actually changed becaue the previous version was not correct in English. You can see the whole discussion about it here: https://github.com/Bertram25/ValyriaTea ... _r22302134

Thanks for taking care of this Akien. :)

I'll deal with translation updates and merge (both on Transifex and on the repo) asap along with a few other things.

Thanks for the translation! :)

Typos with short form of the words:

Evade (EVD):
EVA: +

Fortitude (FRT):
FOR: +

Nice catch dimproject! :)

I've fixed the typos in the repo and updated the pot file.

I also pushed the italian update (thanks BioHazardX) on both the repo and transifex.

I found the new English string Update method. What is that, does it have to do with the graphics or with a mechanism that updates the game to a new version? :)

Hey WillemS, :)

I'm not sure I get what you mean. Maybe are you talking about the 'make update-pot' statement?
If so, it's simply a command that is updating the pot file with every string found in game indeed. Part of my job is to split it into several part, to ease the work of everyone around. :)
I'm on refactoring the battle targeting system atm and will fix a few other things before doing that, though.

Best regards,

Hi Bertram,

No, I meant this translatable string in valyriatear.pot on Transifex:
Image

I don't know what it means, so I have trouble translating it in the right way :)

Hey WillemS. Arf, just saw that one. (Hey, long time I didn't come here btw.)

The 'update method' is the game rendering update loop method. It can be 'gentle' (for the cpu) with potential rendering hiccups, but at least you can something else at the same time (useful for recording and such), or 'performance' where every FPS count.

Hi, I am translating into Japanese now.

But I found a strange sentence, in layna_village_riverbank_at_night_script.lua:449
"Oh, I see now. So this is her mother. Bring her here, and kill her!"
I think this 'her' should be changed to "his".

Sorry for slow answer. You're completely right. I'll fix that now, and update the pot file.

I finished Japanese translation.
But Valyria Tear don't have Japanese font now. If Adding a Japanese font is possible, I find a Japanese free font.

Hey RatArmy! Sorry for the slow answer!
Feel free to start searching a japanese font (as you will know better than me! :])

I'll add the Japanese support as soon as possible.

Thanks a lot!

I recommend Source Han Sans Japanese for Japanese font.
It is good looking and OFL licence(same as LinLibertine).

I can't wait to play Valyria Tear in Japanese! But my boost ver is 1.60, so I can't build code on github now.
